I love to go to the farmer's market... fills me with nostalgia.

Makes me imagine the "olden days"... back when most people (when they purchased it, and didn't grow it themselves) bought fruit, veggies, chickens and eggs out of the back of a farmer's truck or roadside stand...

I always try to add some sort of decoration, especially outside.  I want any neighbors or passerby who may have lost a loved one, served our country, etc. to see that we are thankful for their service in our home.

I have a dear friend who lost her son in Afghanistan.
We are often disconnected from what these men and women do to ensure our freedom.
